FAQ

Our skin courses are open to qualified beauty therapists and medical professionals. The entry requirements vary depending on the course, so please see the individual course pages on our website.

We also offer training in medical treatments such as Botox and dermal fillers. These courses are open to medical professionals only.
Yes, if you are a beauty therapist we usually require copies of your certificates, these can be scanned and sent to us via email. For medical professionals, we require your pin number so that we can ensure that you are registered with a relevant professional body (NMC, GMC etc).

We will also need to see your photo ID (passport, driver’s licence etc) in order to prove your identity on the day. Failure to provide either of these may result in you not being allowed to take part in the course.
Practical experience is a vital part of the training course and we expect every delegate to practice on at least one model on the day. All delegates will be required to complete both the theoretical and practical sessions in order to pass the course.
Facethetics Training will supply the models for the majority of courses. We may, on very rare occasions, ask delegates to bring a model with them, but this usually applies to certain medical courses, rather than the skin courses.

All models will be properly consulted prior to any treatments, to ensure that they are safe and suitable to undergo the procedure.
All delegates will be assessed on both the theoretical and practical aspects of the course. If we do not feel that you have demonstrated sufficient skill and knowledge, we will not issue you with a pass. This is because, as your training provider, we are responsible for your success as a practitioner, the safety of the patients you treat and our own reputation. Any delegates who do not pass will be invited back to our next training session to give them another opportunity to complete the course.
All delegates who pass the course will receive a certificate which will serve as proof of completion of training. As our courses are recognised by several reputable insurers, this certificate will allow you to obtain the required indemnity insurance to practice the procedures we have trained you in.
Once you have completed one of our training courses, our team will be more than happy to offer you advice should you have any questions; we can be contacted by phone or email. If required, we can also arrange a follow up with one of our trainers for further guidance.
